Business Women Connect: Live the Perfect Day

Priority living occurs when your business and life work together. The patterns of execution that cause you to be a successful business woman also cause you to be a successful mother, wife & volunteer. Priority living is a 360 degree approach to living on purpose and doing business on purpose. Ultimately, by following the following principles, you will do what’s necessary to earn more money in less time with less stress.  PRINCIPLE #1: Increase Your Passion! Passion is what success is all about. You have to love your business. Be excited by the prospect of having a perfect day, of going home 100% fulfilled every day.  PRINCIPLE #2: Reduce Your Procrastination! You don’t have to be great to start but you have to start to be great. Take action now. Don’t let fear stop you.  When you have faith in the future, the knowledge and skills to do what you need to do, and momentum from repeating an action until it is a new habit, then there will be no need to procrastinate. PRINCIPLE #3: Unlock Your Potential! You have more potential than you think. As Norman Vincent Peale says, “Anybody can do just about anything with himself that he really wants to and makes up his mind to do. We are all capable of greater things than we realize.”

PRINCIPLE #4: Perfect Your Performance!  To perfect your performance, you must be in the habit of practicing it. The goal is to build your systems so you are doing the right things the right way. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said, “It takes less time to do a thing right than it does to explain why you did it wrong.”    PRINCIPLE #5: Power Up Your Perseverance! Remember the train that made it to the top of the mountain by saying, “I think I can. I think I can.” Like the train, your success isn’t a matter of if, it’s a matter of when. But you must persevere, especially when you’re faced with your toughest challenges. Don’t ever give up.  PRINCIPLE #6: Make New Promises. Live Out Your Priorities! Promises are critical to priority living in several important ways. -Promises eliminate confusion. When you make a promise, it helps you focus. - Promise-making creates a more natural pull to the activities that you know will give you the life you desire. -Promises negate compromise. It is hard to be out of sync with your promises for any length of time. The promise will always bring you back to the central behavior and action that is critical to success.  -Promises increase commitment. When you make a promise that is values based, it is easier to have the commitment for that promise. The more you execute the promise, the more momentum you develop for other growth tasks.       PRINCIPLE #7: Be purposeful in all that you do! When you are purposeful in all that you do, life changes. There could be as many as 50 things in a day that you used to say yes to that you’ll now say no to.  Make every choice in what you do, when you do it, why you do it, and how you do it on purpose. This filter will make life and business complete.

You can have the perfect day. Start implementing the seven principles for priority living today. By doing so, your perfect day…and your ability to earn more money in less time with less stress…will arrive, quicker than you think.
