Event Title: Cumberland Arts Goes to Market

Event Description: 8th annual arts and crafts festival with a celebration of the 2016 Indiana Bicentennial. Interspersed among the 90 plus art, craft and farmers market vendors will be historic stations highlighting periods in Indiana history. Pick up a “Tour Card” and get it stamped at each station to receive a festival keepsake. Sally Perkins, Storytelling Arts storyteller, at 12 noon with an original piece weaving fascinating tales from Cumberland history including a local tie to John Dillinger. Civil War Period Dancing with music performed by the Irish Airs. Silly Safaris. Food Trucks. Put a note in the Time Capsule that will be buried at 4 pm. Free event admission. Free parking and handicapped accessible. Children activities. Honest to Goodness Indiana Bicentennial event and endorsed as a Bicentennial Legacy Project.
